> Before it's too late we would like to thank you very much for the lovely and extremely apt poem you wrote about my brother Martin who died some weeks ago. You say in the poem 'he had a life well spent' and he really did live his life to the full. He was quite a character and there were so many facets to him.

> Last Friday afternoon his daughters arranged a Celebration/Memorial event for him and your poem was read out and it was very well received, a welcome bit of light relief. His Memorial was a very bitter sweet occasion, the casket of his ashes which his daughters brought back from China took centre stage and a number of lovely tributes were paid not least an excellent Obituary from Gavin Wellman who had known and worked with him for over thirty two years. Martin really did enjoy their little company Sailors where he worked for two years or so, such a pity he didn't see them move into their new factory.

We shall miss this light in our lives and miss him a lot particularly when we're in Langkawi where we had met up often over the last fourteen years.
